What Lisar Connect is
Lisar Connect manages the service and profile layer around standard VPN clients. It helps users create profiles, download OpenVPN .ovpn files, review routing choices and understand plan-based limits before connecting.
Profile management
Create and review connection profiles in the Lisar panel, with visibility into profile status and plan information where supported.
Routing context
Review routing choices such as entry behavior, GeoDNS, DNS AdBlock and Custom Exit where those features are available by plan.
Connection visibility
Use dashboard views for active sessions, connection history, quota and related status information where supported by the product.
Why Lisar exists
Many VPN services push users into a vendor-specific app. Lisar takes a different approach by helping users use standard VPN clients with clearer profile management and setup information.
The goal is to make setup easier to understand, easier to move between supported clients and less tied to a single proprietary client flow.
Built around standard VPN clients
For OpenVPN, the supported Lisar flow is: download the .ovpn file, open OpenVPN Connect, choose Upload File, import or save the profile, then connect.
Compatible L2TP/IPsec setup is also documented where applicable. Lisar does not require a proprietary Lisar app for these supported setup paths.
